Hindi main abhivadan kay liye din kay kisi bhi samay ‘namastey’ ya ‘namaskar’ kehtay hai. English main abhivadan ka shabd samay 

kay anusar badal jata hai.
Subah ko ‘good morning’, Dophar (12 sey 5 bajay tak) ko ‘good afternoon’ aur sham (5 bajay kay baad) ‘good evening’ kehtay hai.

  Exclamatory Word(s) - Bhavbodhak shabd 

English is a live language and in Good English, facial expression, body movements and pitch of voice variations are implied. While speaking English, please do not speak only words, feel the emotion of the words/sentence and then speak the sentence bringing expressions in voice and on face. Observe the facial expressions, shoulder movements and eye movements in English movies or English programmes and practice from the beginning.

- Given below is a list of word/words which you should start using to express emotions, surprise etc in day-to-day conversation.

DAY 2 

There is a tradition in English to express thanks and sorry on every small things and using polite phrases. Common Polite words/Phrases are:

English main har choti choti bat par thanks aur sorry aur shishtachaar shabdo/vakyo ko bolnay ka riwaj hai. Prachlit shishtachaar shabd/words :

Please, Kindly - When you are to ask time, pen or any thing, then you are to use ‘please’ or ‘kindly’. If somebody has asked you and you are giving pen or anything or you are replying, you should say ‘please’ while giving anything. ‘Kindly’ is normally used in writing and for seniors.

Kripaya (Please, Kindly) – Jab hamay kisi sey time puchhna ho ya koi vastu mangni ho to ‘kripaya – please-kindly’ kehtay hai. Agar kisi nay aapsay manga aur aap vah vastu dey rahay ho ya jawab de rahay ho, tab bhi appko ‘please’ kehna hai. ‘Kindly’ aamtaur par likhnay main aur seniors kay liye istemaal hota hai.

Thanks - If someone has done even a small thing for you or gives you something, you should say ‘thanks’ or ‘thank you’ in your response. Use of words 'thanks or thank you' appears a bit informal hence some other words may be joined with it like - Thanks a lot / Many thanks / Thank you very much / Thank you very much indeed / Thank you so much / Thank you very much for your help / for your guidance / for the present. When someone thanks to you, you should again respond and say ‘It’s all right’, or ‘it’s fine’, or 'That's okay', or '(Oh) Not at all', or 'Don't mention it', or ‘it’s/that's my pleasure’, or ‘welcome’ or ‘you are welcome’.

Dhanyavaad (Thanks) - Agar kisi nay aapka chota sa kam  kiya ho ya jawab diya, tab aapko dhanyavaad in shabdo kay saath  kehna hai - ‘thanks’ or ‘thank you’. Kewal 'thanks or thank you' ka prayog anaupcharik mana jata hai isliye inkay saath kuchh aur bhi shabd joday ja saktay hai jaisay - bahut dhanyavaad, bahut bahut dhanyavaad, vastav main aapka bahut dhanyavaad, aapki madad kay liye / margdarshan kay liye / uphaar kay liye bahut dhanyavaad. Dhanyavaad kay jawab main apko ‘theek hai’, ‘ismay meri khushi hai’, 'swagat hai’ aadi in shabdo kay saath kehna hai -‘It’s all right’, or ‘it’s fine’, or 'Thant's okay', or '(Oh) Not at all', or 'Don't mention it', or ‘it’s/that's my pleasure’, or ‘welcome’ or ‘you are welcome’.

Sorry, Excuse Me, Pardon - If you are late or you forget something or you have come across of others or your body/things touched somebody, you should say ‘sorry’ for everything.
 If you want to attract someone’s attention or you are to pass in between of some persons or you are sitting in a group and you are to go out for a while, you should say ‘excuse me’. On sneezing in fron of others, you should say "Excuse me". On this 'Excuse me' others can say "Bless you"
When over phone you do not hear clearly, please say ‘pardon’ or ‘I beg your pardon', to hear again.

Maaf kijiyega (Sorry, Excuse Me, Pardon) -
Maafi kay liye alag alag avsar par alag alag shabd bolay jatay hai. Aamtaur par kuch bhul janay per, kisi kay beech main aanay per, kisi sey takranay par, ‘sorry’ keh kar maafi mangtay hai.
Agar aap kisi ka sabhyatapurvak dhyan akarshit karna chahtay hai, ya do logo kay beech sey gujarna chahtay ho, ya kisi group main baithay ho aur kuchh samay kay liye uthna chahtay ho to aapko ‘Excuse me’ bolna hai. Doosro kay saamnay chheenk aanay par aap kehta hai "Excuse me". Is "Excuse me" kay jawab main saamnay wala "Bless you" bol sakta hai.
 Phone par baat kartay samay agar aapko theek sey sunaai nahi deta hai to aapko kehna hai 'pardon please' or 'I beg your pardon', saamnay wala vyakti samaj jayega aur baat ko dobara kahega.

Allow me – If you want to render small help to other like you want to carry the bag of senior, you should say – 'Allow me to carry the bag, please'. In place of 'Allow me' you may also use 'May I help you?'

Ijajat Dijiye - Agar aap kisi ki chhoti si bhi sahayata karna chahtay ho –jaisay kisi senior ka bag uthana chahtay ho to aap kehtay hai – aapka bag uthanay ki ijajat dijiye. 'Ijajat dijiye' kay sthan par 'kya main aapki madad kar sakta hoon?' bhi keh saktay hai.

 - Phrases 

Pharases in place of complete sentences are commonly used particulary in English conversation. These are not complete sentences and are not bound by any rules of grammar. These are very simple and must be used in English conversation.

 You are learning different topics and reading number of examples. You simply try to understand each parts of sentence, memorise the vocabulary and read twice-thrice the explanations and examples. In the beginning, possibly, you will find a bit difficult to understand thoroughly.

 You please continue reading, devote good time in listening English and continue practice of speaking short/common/big English sentences. Gradually you will find that you have learnt good English easily.

English main vakya kee jagah bahut baar vakyansh ya kewal ek-do shabdo sey kaam chalaya jaata hai. English main(khastaur sey bolchaal main) is tarah kay vakyansh ka prayog bahut hota hai. Yaha purn vakya nahi hotay aur kisi niyam sey bandhay nahi hotay.

Aap alag alag topics aur anaik udaharan padh rahay hai. Aap kewal vakyo kay har bhag ko samajhnay ka prayas karey, shabdavali badhay and do-teen baar vyakhya aur udaharan ko padhay. Shuru main, shayad, yaha atchhi tarah samajhnay main thoda mushkil lagega.

 - Use of Helping Verbs

The Helping verbs are - is, are, am, was, were, has, have, had.
 'Is, are, am, was, were' -Helping verbs are used for verb 'to be' which means 'be something'. Has, have, had - Helping verbs are used to denote possesion.

 'Is, are, am, has & have' are used in present tense and 'was, were & had' are used for past tense. These are commonly used in day to day english conversation. Examples used in very common conversation are given below. Please read the examples with a voice. Think of similar sentences which you may use in your English conversation and repeat them with a voice in a flow. This practice will help in speaking English fluently.

Is, are, am, was, were' -Helping verbs (sahayak kriya) vakya main 'hai/hoon' kay sthan par prayog hota hai. Doosray sahaya kriya shabd -' has, have, had' ka prayog 'adhikaar main hona' kay arth main hota hai. Inka prayog roj ki bolchaal main bahut adhik prayog hota hai. Inkay kuch udaharan nichay diye hai. Kripaya awaaj kay saath boltay huay padhay. Un vakyo kay baaray main sochay jo aap apni bolchaal main bol saktay hai aur unko baar baar ek laya main bolay. Yaha abhyas atchhi English bolnay main madad karega.

 - Short Answers & Present Tense

In communication and spoken English, instead of saying complete sentence, complete helping verbs, short form of helping verb and short sentence are commonly used. In pronouncing also, short form of helping verb becomes shorter e.g. ‘he has not’ – in pronunciation these three words will be recited as two words ‘he haznt’. We give below table stating the helping verb used with each pronoun and their short forms used in writing/conversation. Please listen each short form’s sound in on-line dictionary and practice.

In the above sentence, please note that in short answers pronouns (he/she/it,they) and only Do/Don't/Does/Doesn't is used which implies the meaning the verb of the sentence. To emphasise something in present indefinite tense, Do/Does is used i.e. He does want to regain back his reputation. When there are two or more objects, there is no rule which object should come first and which object should come in last. It depends upon our imagination and preference to decide their order i.e. Daily in the morning or In the morning daily - both are correct.
